Action Bronson Collaborates With Chance the Rapper on "Baby Blue"
“Baby Blue” by Action Bronson Ft. Chance The Rapper with production from Mark Ronson, what a great combination!
Mr Wonderful is a big album for Action Bronson one that will defy his career, and it seems he has the backing of the best producers in the business and Mark Ronson is certainly on those kind of production levels and has made successful Hip Hop records before like “Ooh Wee” ft. Ghostface Killah and Nate Dogg. “Baby Blue” demonstrates an alternative side to Action Bronson, delivering a chorus structure to the song before delivering the verse that deals with the “relationship problem” subject matter. The chorus then breaks before the instruments change and the song breaks down into Chance The Rapper’s verse. I think Chance delivered a great verse and did not seem out of place alongside Action Bronson. An interesting collaboration, with a song that is a bit rough around the edges but remains catchy and simplistic enough to lure me to listen to each verse with anticipation. The beat is good and sits well with Action Bronson’s vocals and the remix’s into Chance’s second verse giving credit to Mark Ronson who can really pull a rabbit out of a hat when it comes to production. Both verses are different and they compliment each other well in a well-put together musical piece. This track definitely has its own theme to it and I think it’s a bold move for Action Bronson that I think will pay off come the launch of the album “Mr Wonderful” on the 24th of march 2015. “Baby Blue” gets five stars.
