Alien Isolation: Review
Alien I
Being a fan of the Alien franchise, in particular the original Ridley Scott Version, I was certainly intrigued, to hear about a new Alien game.
All before have been flops, the last Alien game I slightly enjoyed playing was Alien 3 on the Classic Saga Mega drive. Alien Isolation developed by the Creative Assembly and published by Saga is a first person stealth oriented space horror game. When I played the game for the first time it really took me into the space horror which Ridley Scott created. The music and sound effects work timelessly through out the environments. Controlling the character Amender Ripley daughter of Ellen Ripley got some getting used to, but soon I was climbing in airshafts and creeping around exploring empty spaceships and it is gripping to say the least. When confronting the Alien for the first time I was impressed at how scary it is, this game focuses on survival, stealth mechanics and the artificial intelligence of the alien making sure those situations put your wits to the test, Alien Isolation works excellently in that respect and definitely keeps you on your toes. Alien Isolation gives you a gradual array weapons and machinery through out the game to help you combat the Alien and other robots etc. Basically anything you can get your hands on to survive, take to many unplanned risks in this game and it won’t end well for you.
